sorry for the radio silence lately, things have been fairly hectic getting ready to go back to uni. i managed to find time to fill this in though! i used to be in a bunch of pokemon OC groups way back when, so this is weirdly nostalgic `v`\ turns out i'm not any better at drawing horses either

Fjord - Ponyta (F) - purebred (both Rapidash parents)
Growing up on her parents' farm, Fjord loves the outdoors, and has been raised to value hard and honest work. She's a firm believer in fairness and karma - after all, if you work hard enough for anything, you should be able to achieve it, right? Because of this, she tends to be bitter about others finding success without "trying hard enough", and can be quick to judge. She was born with a weak hind leg, and on a bad day will struggle to even get up. Nonetheless, she throws herself fully into everything she does - perhaps out of resentment, a feeling that she deserves to be able to work as well as everybody else, if only she tries hard enough.

She's very stubborn and slow to change her mind; potential allies would do well to strive for a good first impression. She's not afraid to speak her mind, and can be unintentionally overbearing, both with her criticisms and her affections. Though she may come across as intimidating, she's almost always well-intentioned, and would never think twice about helping someone who asked her - for better or worse.

Jack - Buneary (F) - Lopunny mother/Meowstic father
Jack never had a good relationship with her parents, and learned early on to look out for number one above all else. She highly values loyalty to her friends, but is slow to make such connections; she and Fjord are childhood friends, and Jack would do just about anything for her. Spending less and less time at home, Jack fell in with a local gang, and her cunning and quick wit proved a valuable asset to their operations. But cheating and stealing quickly lost their thrill, and Jack became disillusioned with the lifestyle. Fjord encouraged her to take up a more honest line of work; and so the two of them decided to make their way to Rift City and join up with a guild.

Jack is usually the voice of reason to Fjord's hot-headed impulsiveness. She usually prefers to observe rather than act, though will not hesitate to step in if provoked. She holds a certain bitterness towards others from more privileged situations, and utter contempt for those she perceives to have "thrown away" their opportunities.
